How to get to Almond Tree Villa
We are situated about 5 kilometres from the A91 motorway that links Alicante and Murcia to Granada. We recommend you hire a car from your airport. There are 4 airports within about 80 minutes drive, Alicante, Murcia, Almeria and Granada. Alicante and Almeria airports provide the easiest and most direct routes to Almond Tree Villa.
- From Alicante Airport take the Autovia A7/E15 SOUTH towards Murcia and at Murcia turn towards Almeria on A7/E15
- From Almeria Airport take the Autovia A7/E15 NORTH towards Murcia.
- From Murcia (St.Javier) Airport take the AP7 towards Cartagena, then follow signs (where the autovia splits) to Almeria on AP7. This part is toll motorway and it costs €6, exit at Mazarron and head towards Totana and take A7/E15 SOUTH towards Almeria and Lorca.
- Exit the A7/E15 just past Puerto Lumbreras heading on Autovia A91 towards Granada,
- Exit at the first junction, 9, on to the service road and follow signs Granada and cafe/restaurant, follow this for 2km.
- At the restaurant Las Macetas (on your right) follow the road signed LA PARROQUIA for 3km to the top of the hill.
- Turn right at the top of the hill onto a dirt road signed Las Atalayas (you may see an Almond Tree Villa sign instead). As you join this camino keep right, then follow the ridge. Look out for our ’small green tree signs’. You should see our orange coloured villa below on the right in the distance. Follow the green tree signs to Almond Tree Villa.
