Why not relax and wind down at Almond Tree Villa in the Sierra Vientos, near Puerto Lumbreras, in SE Spain?  If you only stay one night you will wish you were staying a week!  Almond Tree Villa is situated in Murcia, the sunniest and warmest region of Spain.  Lorca our largest town has notable architecture including churches and ancestral homes from the C16 onwards. Velez Blanco with its unique rennaisance castle and nearby Sierra Maria-Los Velez Natural Park are well worth a visit. Aguilas and it’s fab beaches are just 45 mins away.  Almond Tree Villa is secluded and nestles in the hills just 5km from the motorway linking Murcia with Granada. Puerto Lumbreras, our nearest town, is just 12km away. Alicante, Murcia and Almeria airports are about 90 mins by car.

Our spacious, purpose built guesthouse has three modern en-suite rooms for guests in a separate wing of the villa (see photo gallery) and a grand two storey guest lounge with minstrel gallery.  Free WIFI internet access is available and central heating for chilly nights in autumn and winter. The 10x5m (clothing optional) pool is warmed with a solar blanket and surrounded by extensive terracing, landscaped gardens and amazing panoramic views of almond and olive groves. We have a ’boules court’ and outdoor gym. Our backdrop is the Cabezo Jara peak (our banner is our view)!   You can use our ’honesty’ bar to help yourself to drinks; lunch time snacks and evening meals are available most days of the week, including Martyn’s famous paella!
